Process

STUD-IO developed a digitally-fabricated light-gauge system that enabled the building’s faceted ceiling to be constructed accurately and efficiently. The ceiling is composed of 157 unique facets, each requiring a custom frame. By standardizing the frame design and fabrication process, STUD-IO workflows provided the mass customization that made it possible to execute this project under budget.
