Designed by Perkins Eastman and fabricated at the Autodesk Technology Center in Boston, FLUID-ITY utilized STUD-IO's StudFinder software to generate a highly accurate, complex and curved geometry that was ultimately clad with tile and installed at DIFFA by Design 2022.

Process

FLUID—ITY’s light gauge structure was designed as 19 prefabricated modules that could fit through an elevator on site for installation. The modules bolt together an can be assembled and disassembled in about 2 hours.
